Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week

waffle donuts

vanilla bean waffle doughnuts. Yes, you read that correctly. I haven’t been that interested in trying to fry my own doughnuts at home, but if you can just ladle that onto a waffle iron? Whole other story.

hot chocolate

Can’t decide if you should have hot chocolate or a cup of earl grey tea? You don’t have to choose, Earl Grey hot chocolate exists!

bunny wall

This amazing wall piece is magnetic wallpaper. With a beautiful giant bunny on it. Needless to say, I desperately want it.

mini quiche

Did you know you can make a quick mini quiche in the microwave? Hello, easy breakfast.

buffalo stamp

This great stamp making tutorial show how to carve a buffalo design into a lino block, and she make sit look easy, especially the tricky part about how to get an image idea onto a blank lino block.

I make Rowan microwave omelettes for breakfast or lunch all the time! They are surprisingly delicious and take all of about 60 seconds. Waffles are another fave of ours, I’ll definitely have to try and up the anti and donut-ify them!

Loved the waffles! Made them right away for dessert (in Europe it’s more of dessert kinda thing). Boyfriend obviously was thrilled by my brilliant idea for valentine’s day :). Mady them dairy and egg free by the way, by replacing butter with vegetable margarine, buttermilk with diluted soy yoghurt en eggs with some extra raising agents. They turned out great!
