Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week

Pin Ups: Coffee Smoothies| knittedbliss.com

These three awesome coffee-based smoothie recipes are perfect for breakfast- they have fruit, protein, and that all-important caffeine hit. The coffee creamsicle one is my fave!

And while we’re talking about breakfast, these  peach and oat pancakes are so perfect for weekends.

Pin Ups: Fresh Tomato sandwich| knittedbliss.com

Another light meal would be these flavourful and fresh toasted tomato and cream cheese open face sandwiches- perfect for all those fresh tomatoes that are in season, and the cream cheese has added fresh herbs, if you have lots of those in your garden, too.

Pin Ups: Sewn Book Clutch| knittedbliss.com

I don’t sew, but if I did, I would be dying to make these  zipper book clutches. Maybe I’ll tap a sewing friend to make one for me- they look so awesome! And I feel would be very fun e-reader cases, too.

Pin Ups: Awesome kitchen| knittedbliss.com

I’m dreaming of redoing my kitchen, and this shot is so inspiring for me right now- I love how bright, fresh and casual it looks, and yet absolutely lovely. And the old-school green chalkboard wall! Love it.  I think this is pretty close to my ideal kitchen, assuming that there is a double oven somewhere just outside of this shot.

Those pancakes look like a perfect breakfast… :-) I have a chalkboard wall in my kitchen, we love it for shopping lists – we just snap a photo of the chalkboard with our phone before we go shopping. And the stepkids love to draw on it, of course!

Great pins once again. I need to catch up and start trying out these pins! Love the chalkboard wall… It looks really useful!

Love your entire selection this week. We painted a purple chalkboard in our dining-room: one thing to be aware of, it creates a lot of chalk dust. I mean a lot. So something to think about before you plan for it. ;-)
