Special Post: Meet Baby James

None of the usual Pin Ups and Link Love this week, I’m sorry! I went into labour very quickly on Monday morning around 9:30 a.m., and this little guy was born at 6:08 a.m. the next day.

This is baby James,  born on December 1st weighing 7 pounds and 14 ounces. For those who did the math on my previous statement, you are correct, I was in labour almost 21 hours. Those of you  who follow me on Instagram saw that photo on the day he was born (I think, time is a little fizzy for me right now).  Here are some more photos, since I got home from the hospital  (which was yesterday- there were a few complications, which I won’t go into right now, but everything is all good.):

Normal posting will resume next week- we’re just getting adjusted over here.

This is the perfect Wee Wednesday post and the cutest pinup ever for Friday! What a good boy arriving on time! Lilah looks totally enraptured…as does Dad. And I’m certain you are too.
21 hours! And more than one complication! Well then, this just means his 2s and teens will be calm and easy. (Really-after this intro?!)
I’m glad to hear complications have turned into the “all good” status.
Rest and heal. Rest and heal. You’ve been through a marathon. Truly. Let that high energy hubby zip around-with or without skateboard.
    Congratulations to all of you!
(Is it my imagination or does SBJ keep doubling in length from one picture to the next?) 😉
