When people talk about how there’s a lot of plastic in the ocean, it can be hard for some of us to really conceptualize that – after all, most of the problem isn’t visible in the northern hemisphere. So someone took 2,700 liters of water from the Pacific ocean, and didn’t filter anything out. It’s travelling around museums in Europe.
Why good actors end up in terrible films.
As someone who worked at a store just like Claire’s all through university, I can relate to this – former Claire’s employee quits, saying child ear piercing policy is deeply flawed. I completely agree – if a child is scared and changes their mind, they have every right to back out of getting their ears pierced. Fortunately for me, I just pierced a lot of my fellow university students (ears and noses!), and the worst thing that ever happened was a guy fainted immediately after I pierced his ear and fell out of the chair, slumping to the carpet.
The psychological reason to say yes to your unhealthy food cravings. Hooray! Permission to eat loads of pizza!!!

This is an amazing low-calorie dinner that is high on flavour – and you don’t have to barbecue the chicken if that’s not your thing! The ‘rice’ is actually chopped cauliflower, and if you haven’t made cauliflower rice before, this is a great tutorial on how to do it the whole dinner, is truly delicious. Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe can be found here.

If you love a good cheese plate as much as I do (and who doesn’t?!) then I highly recommend the dessert dip plate. It’s basically the same sort of concept- lots of things on a plate, but with a deliciously sweet raspberry cream cheese dip that is reminiscent of a cheesecake. So yummy, and so much easier than making an official dessert. Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe is here.

This peach melba smoothies is so very healthy, but tastes like dessert. It falls for frozen raspberries and fresh peaches, but I get frozen peaches and tit work out out perfectly. I think you will love it! Pinterest link is here, and the full (very easy) recipe is here.

This very cool DIY tray uses only 6 items, and you could easily switch out the matches for other small objects that you could use in pattern instead. Maybe silk flowers, leaves, or other small, semi-flat objects. Pinterest link is here, and you can check out the DIY here.

I love this idea for upcycling berry baskets from the grocery store with leftover yarn! Great ideas for turning them into full baskets with handles,or just keeping them square. Plus you could do any colours or embroidery ideas that strike your fancy! Pinterest link is here, and the full tutorial is here.
Have a wonderful long weekend everyone- Happy Easter, if you celebrate! And if not, enjoy a lovely, relaxing long weekend.
