I had a great interview on Fiber Chats a little while ago (but hadn’t been updating the blog, eep!). Such great questions, and a really good deep dive on how I got into embroidery on knits and where I see things going. Grab your knitting or stitching, and come watch here!
My Favourite Pins This Week

I’ve made this chicken dish twice so far, and it’s a hit! I find the name a little embarrassing, so it’s called tuscan chicken in my house. It’s really easy and makes boring old chicken breasts absolutely delicious! The original recipe can be found right here.

If you are looking for a great little baking treat, these maple syrup squares feel very seasonal right now! Easy, delicious, and doesn’t have a million ingredients, which is always my favourite. I often discard recipes that have ‘too many ingredients’, which isn’t a set number of rm,e just my general mood on how many things I’m willing to gather to make a dish. But this! This definitely does not have too many ingredients. And would be such a great treat to bring to a gathering! Find the recipe here.

I love the emotional support chicken trend, but I’m not the world’s biggest lover of garter stitch. So I was pretty pumped to find the free stockinette chicken pattern! I have actually made this myself – you can see my happy like chicken here!– and was thrilled with the results. To get gauge, I held about 4 strands of yarn together. it was a fun make, and a stashbuster, and when people see this pretty chicken in my booth, they love her! She gets to be in my booth at yarn shows because she’s embroidered with my daisy stick and stitch pack, here. You can find the free knitting pattern for this adorable chicken here!

How cute are these quilted coasters?! These would be such a great gift to sew, as well as use up some fabric stash! Find a really great and thorough tutorial on Shannon’s blog, here.

I absolutely love this great mind map of small, actionable ideas for improving your happiness and your life. The vibes seem to definitely be off lately, and so many people are feeling down, so these are some great ideas to gently nudge yourself to good habits.
Well my friends, it’s hard to believe how long it’s been! Funny how Instagram feels like it’s taken over as a mini blog platform, isn’t it. Just a note that you can always find me on Instagram here, and I recently joined Bluesky (the new twitter!) here! If you are on either of these platforms, feel free to follow or reach out! Wishing you all cozy, lovely days ahead.
