I was SO EXCITED to find a sweater’s worth of Tanis Fiber Arts Orange Label in my stash in a special OOAK colourway ‘Green Bliss’ (she doesn’t carry this base any more, but a similar base is here, and a similar colourway would be Lucky Penny) , and I cast on for City Limits right away, after a superfast swatch….. in my excitement I clearly did NOT check gauge properly. Because this sweater is way too big and I I have to frog the whole thing and swatch again with smaller needles.

But hey, the yarn is scrumptious and the colourway is me to a T. So not all bad, I guess? Still. I was hoping to be wearing this sweater sooner rather than later. I’ve now frogged up to the beginning, left the first few rounds to keep a slightly wider neckline- I am not a personal fan of crew necks, so I might as well use the gauge issue to be a happy accident for the winder neckline I would have wanted anyway.
