Friends, how do you feel about pineapple? Because I love it. And I’m a big fan of adding pineapple to savoury dishes! This is a delicious sweet and salty dish is wonderful for a fun, healthy dinner that is full of summery flavour. If you love pineapple, you’ll probably love this dish. Full of veggies (I always add more), and if you don’t have/want to grill, you can modify it! Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe is over here.

Lemon shortbread cookies!! You all know how much I LOVE all lemon desserts, and these are nice weekend baking project that yields delicious results. Pinterest link is here, and the recipe can be found here.

These little pigs are completely charming to me, and I’m not quite sure why! I love how they would be perfect for a bit of stashbusting, but they also seem like they would be cute ornaments, or fun little toys for kids, or possibly on a keychain? Tiny crocheted cuties would be fun in lots of ways! Pinterest link is here, and the full free crochet pattern for them is right over here.

This is such a cool technique for drawing yarn up and over your knitting, and yields such pretty results! Definitely worth a try to shake off the doldrums with your knitting and trying something a little new. Pinterest link is here, and the great video tutorial can be found here.

I am dreaming of outdoor spaces looking as beautiful and magical as all of these! I know a lot of us probably spent some time and energy in beautifying out outdoor areas last summer, but here in Toronto we’re still looking at a lot of ‘local’ time this summer, and I’m definitely still planning on continuing to make my patio as pretty as I can- starting with the ideas here! Pinterest link is here, and the original post is here. I feel like I need some better outdoor lighting and possibly an outdoor mirror? So pretty.
Hard to believe it’s almost May! It’s been a very busy April around here- I had a lot of project deadlines, and with the kids home for the mandatory online learning, it’s been a LOT. Here in Toronto the Covid numbers are still high, and so we are looking ahead to when the curve starts moving downwards. Also, I got vaccinated! It was a happy, surreal moment.
Have a good weekend, friends. If you’re on the struggle bus, know that you are not alone!
