This is a very quick dinner for when you are craving Chinese food! The recipe calls for julienned carrots and cabbage, but I buy a bag of coleslaw mix, which is alread precut and just the right veggies, and it’s even faster. Seriously delicious! Find the recipe here.

This cinnamon apple cake is a great weekend baking treat, delicious and deeply satisfying. I don’t ever use whole milk for anything, it’s just fine with 2%. But if you are a whole milk devotee, go for it! The recipe is right over here.

If you’d like to get your easter season craft on, how cute are these pom pom easter eggs?! I feel like they would be brilliant for destashing small amounts of fun colours of yarn in your stash, and a great little craft project. It’s worth clicking through to see all the cute colour ideas and lots of cute photos. Find the whole DIY here.

For my sewist friends, I was really charmed by this great way to use up scraps of fabric to make shoelaces. How fun would these be for spring, to refresh old shoes for a new look? So completely charming. Check it out here.

I find myself with a LOT of used crayons in my house and not really sure what to do with them, so I was especially excited to see this craft that reuases crayons as colour blocked candles! Isn’t that just so clever? I think this is a really fun idea, and very much want to try it! If you’ve done it before, please share any tips! DIY is here.
I hope you have a good weekend, friends. It’s been a really hard week for me- I lost my sweet cat, Yarn, and it’s been utterly devastating. For those of you who have lost a special pet, you’ll know what I mean. Here’s a photo of my girl, from a couple of years ago when she was still healthy. If you have furbabies, hug them tight this weekend. Unless they don’t like that. But Yarn loved cuddles.
