What Makes This Awesome: The original fingerless mitt pattern is a simple stockinette with the top garter band, and while utterly lovely, there is a lot of room to add in or swap out details to customize and makes these your own. I love how Marcy customized these with great details like the stripe in the garter section, and echoed it through the i-cord edgings and the lateral braid. That’s what is so great about accessory patterns that initially seem quite simple- they can be the perfect blank canvas to experiment with fun colour combinations and some new techniques.
