If you need a last-possible-second holiday gift, might I suggest an e-gift card for the shop? Then the lucky recipient can pick out anything they would like!

Just a few quick round ups today- yesterday the school cancelled school for Friday, because of an impending storm. The northerner in me feels that they are making a big deal out of typical winter weather, but here we are, with my kids at home unexpectedly on the last weekday before the holidays!

A quick and easy little gift idea is this marinated cheese recipe. Perfect for cheeseboards, a great hostess gift, and an easy way to make something giftable – assuming you don’t end up keeping them for yourself! They are, after all, very delicious! Find the recipe over here.

Frozen eggnog! I really enjoy eggnog, but drinking it ‘straight’ feels a little much. This Frozen eggnog recipe turns it into a milkshake, making it a perfect holiday dessert. Find the recipe here.

I made these super simple but very pretty cocktails when I had a couple friends over recently, and they felt very special and festive with the cranberries and sprigs of thyme! Highly recommend. It was a snap to put these together, and I would definitely make them again. Find the recipe right here.

I love this pretty hair idea for wearing a scarf, and would be pretty for a holiday gathering, or really just any day where you want to do something with your hair! It’s a Tiktok, but you can watch the whole thing on Pinterest here, if you don’t have a Tiktok account.

If you are looking for a way to reuse old crayons, this ornament DIY would be brilliant! A great holiday time craft, especially because they can be packed away with the other ornaments and pulled back out again next year. But of course, it’s still a good weekend activity now! The DIY is right here.
I was wildly unprepared for Christmas this year, but it’s all good- it’ll sort itself out. I think because the previous years I was so concerned about the long shipping times and trying not to go shopping in person I ordered everything so far ahead of time! And this year, well…. I didn’t do that. So I’ve been to a LOT of shopping malls this month. Anyway. I am looking forward to a restful week of celebrating with family and friends, near and far. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday break, and have a bit of time for yourselves to enjoy some rest, and hopefully do a few things that you really love doing.
