I looooove pineapple. So a dinner dish that features pineapple is a big hit in my books, and for the kids, too! This chicken, rice and pineapple dish is a great winner, and it’s easy to add bell peppers into it to add in more veggies, if you are looking for more veggies. You all already know I’m always looking to get more veggies in! Find the recipe here – super easy, and so delicious.

This is one of those desserts that actually isn’t as unhealthy as it looks! This cheesecake dip is made mostly with nonfat yogurt and reduce fat cream cheese. And you can dip not just graham crackers, but also angel food cake, or strawberries, and I certainly wouldn’t judge if you ate it with a spoon! Find the recipe over here, and feel free to tweak as you’d like.

Now that pie season feels very definitely upon us, I really loved this round up of different ideas to jazz up your pie pastry. The ideas are all really doable and accessible, which I loved – I’m especially a big fan of covering a pie top with small cookie cutter shapes! Find the whole inspiring list (with photos!) here.

I love this pretty, bright pompom and straw chandelier craft- it would be so pretty on a patio or balcony, or to jazz up a light fixture over a table. And the colours on this one are bright and fun, but could also be crafted in muted tones for a Scandinavian- bohemian look. Find the how to over here to make one yourself.

Super cute and perfect for destashing leftover bits of yarn – these adorable crocheted kitties! This free pattern is easy enough for beginners who have a little bit of crochet experience, as well. I love how cute they are! For DK weight yarn, but you could down a crochet hook size and use fingering weight for an even teenier kitty, which would OF COURSE be even cuter. Find the free pattern here.
Suddenly it is the last weekend in October, and it will be a busy one for me- lots of Halloween festivities for the kids all weekend long! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend, whether you celebrate Halloween or not. It isn’t one of my favourites- I’m not a fan of the gory and creepy décor that some houses go in for – but the kids love Halloween because what is more fun that costumes and free candy, when you’re a kid?!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
