I absolutely adore one pan meals, and this baked autumn chicken recipe is ideal! You could definitely change out the veggies, and while it also adds in bacon (yum!) if that’s not your thing, give it a skip and it’ll still be delicious. Find the recipe here.

Speaking seasonal goodies, these chai spice cookies are a nice variation of a snickerdoodle cookie, and much more interesting, if you ask me! They feel like the perfect cookie for this time of year- soft and comforting and with a bit of spice. The recipe has a list of the spices to use to make the mix, but I also feel like if you were a lazy baker like me you could probably start with just a pumpkin pie spice mix and freestyle from there. But hey, that’s just me. Recipe is right over here.

This crocheted plaid scarf is so pretty, and would be such a lovely gift, don’t you think? Customize colours to match with your coat situation, and bingo- instantly coordinated and cozy. Find the free pattern to download on Yarnspirations here.

This is a really cool idea- how to use a print or photo print out and fake an oil painting effect. I think this would be a really fun idea for a nicer image- unfortunately the craft is showing what seems like a really old fashioned and typical oil painted scene from someone’s elderly uncle- but I’d love to try this, especially on a photo that has been tweaked in an app to have a painting-like effect. Then the painting would be even more meaningful! Find the DIY here.

And if you need a little boost of self confidence, I think this is a good reminder. Could always print it out and put it somewhere you’ll see it regularly, too! I found it on Pinterest.
October blinked right by, I always find the fall to be the busiest of all the seasons- so many things to do, and then of course all the seasonal illnesses as well. Here’s wishing you all a cozy weekend of staying healthy and enjoying yourselves.
