I love this idea for a simple but really pretty way to put a hummus plate together. Okay, it’s not what you would typically make for dinner, but this falls right into ‘buffet’ territory. What is buffet, you ask? ‘buffet’ is when I can’t be bothered to cook so I assemble a variety of things on ap late for the kids to eat. I told them it was buffet, because I was concerned that they would be at school or daycare, doing some sort of exercise where they say what they had for dinner last night (I have no idea why this would happen, but fears are silly like that) and then my kids would claim to basically have eaten snacks for dinner, and I’d feel embarrassed. But they have buffet for dinner, and Lila often asks for buffet, so I consider it a parenting win. Now, where was I? Oh yes, this delicious hummus plate. which you could eat any time, including for dinner. Pinterest link is here, and the recipe post is over here.

You don’t need a campfire to make these s’mores! I love dessert bars, they are always such a treat and in that perfect zone of not being as indulgent as cake, but far more satisfying than a cookie. These S’mores bars come together really easily, but you will need a big jar of the marshmallow fluff, which I find is usually only in the bigger grocery stores. But once you find it, you’re in business! Pinterest link is here, and the recipe is here.

How pretty are these crocheted flowers? They can be done in any colour you like, including the centers, and are perfect for destashing small amounts of yarn. It’s a free pattern, too! Pinterest link is here, and the Ravelry link to the free download is here.

When you see those great Pinterest crafts that call for that really-hard-to-roll (and kind of expensive) clay, maybe try this 3 ingredient clay instead! I love how bright white and fresh it looks, and it’s really easy- but much stronger if you bake it in the oven rather than just air dry. Possibly that depends on your humidity where you live. Pinterest link is here, and the full DIY is here.

I love this quote – I think it is something that is worth remembering from time to time, that the stuff we love leaves us energized. Sadly I can’t find the original source – anyone know where this is from? Pinterest link is here, and the page it came from is here.

It’s a long weekend here in Canada, and the weather is looking good – finally!! Hoping to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Have a gorgeous weekend, everyone!
