Motorcycle school update – I did pretty good! It was incredible just how differently the class was at this different training school, and I felt a lot more comfortable. Although some of that may just be I’ve had more riding time, and like anything in life, the more you do it the better you get. I’ll have my test on Sunday – I’m feeling pretty positive! Still working on my turns to develop more confidence!
My Favourite Articles and Links This Week
Last week I posted to Instagram Stories about seeing Isle of the Dogs at an outdoor pop up cinema, and I went with a friend who also happens to blog about cool things in Toronto. There was food, drinks, and it was dog-friendly, so puppies everywhere! She blogged about it all here.
This list isn’t long enough- only three men are mentioned. Great literary husbands who supported genius.
Made me laugh – Things Romantic Comedies Gave Me Unrealistic Expectations About.
Ah, digital privacy. That’s been over with for years, we just didn’t realize it.
My Favourite Pins This Week

You already know that if something has avocado and bacon on something, I’m totally all over it. So this rosemary chicken, bacon, and avocado salad is so delicious and full of protein. Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe can be found here.

Almond oranges florentines are a great summer cookie- light and citrusy, and full of protein! I’m on a protein kick this week, can you tell? But also, I love almonds. Pinterest link is here, and the super-easy 5 ingredient recipe is right here.

Got a skein of a gorgeous gradient (or a pretty solid) and aren’t sure what to make with it? How about crocheting this gorges Sophie’s World cushion cover? The pattern is free, and always so pretty. Pinterest link is here, and the free pattern can be found here.

I’m so guilty of this- “Good, thanks!” is my stock response when someone asks how I am. But these seven suggestions are so much more interesting and actually deepen conversations, and likely turn acquaintances into friends. Pinterest link is here, and the full post is here.

Ah, so true. Funny how our goal posts change, but it’s worth reflecting and appreciating what you have- because there was a time when you didn’t have it and you wanted it. Pinterest link is here, but I couldn’t find the original link (probably someone’s Instagram?).
Have a gorgeous weekend!!
