Mods:  The shawl pattern is originally based on a Danish doily, and Tatyana used the pattern to create a dress using the doily for the skirt inspiration. Project page is here.

What Makes This Awesome:  I’m a big fan of transforming shawls, and when I saw this dress it blew me away. The skirt showcases the original pattern perfectly, and her work on ensuring a seamless transition into the top of the dress is perfect. The yoke even mimics the shape of the skirt, and the details on the bodice flow wonderfully. I can’t get over this stunning, one-of-a-kind dress!
