What Makes This Awesome: The hat is gorgeous, but seeing these mittens makes me think that they should totally be a set!  The chart adjusts well to a traditional mitten structure, and I love how Susanne even carried it through on the thumb, as well.   The alignment of the pattern looks perfectly centered, and the effect is balanced and so well thought out. And that contrasting orange of the leaves and stems? It’s from a yarn she dyed herself, from mushrooms. Pretty amazing!
