What Makes This Awesome: First of all, I love the ‘hey, I could do that!’ approach that Yvonne had on transforming a shawl pattern into a parasol. Lace shawls are lovely, but there is something magical about this beautiful knit- doubling it up and adding beading and then adding all that loveliness to an umbrealla’s mechanics is really the stuff of awesome, fearless knitting. I’m blown away.
