Mods: Created a bottom-up raglan cardigan using the main lace design from the sweater. Also changed the sleeves to be short, with a puffed shoulder, and a small lace detail on the back. Project page with great notes can be found here.

What Makes This Awesome: Ioana wanted a summery, cropped cardi with short puffed sleeves, but love the lace detail on the Peabody sweater. I’m so impressed by her complete reinvention of the design! She focused on the part she loved best (the leafy lace), and built the sweater around that, without compromising on her original vision of a cropped cardi with short, puffed sleeves. The finished result is spectacular- beautiful, fresh, and perfect for summer.
