Until recently, the very act of publishing a post seemed daunting. You know I’d half write up a post and then in my most typical, insecure (and procrastinators) self I’d never finish it. Many times this would happen over the course of the last year. The longer and longer it went on, the more I felt I had to have something realllllllly substantial (not to mention a FO) for you guys. The guilt riddled me whenever I’d see one of Julie’s posts big or small, and it was never my intent to be absent for so long of stretches. It’s been unfair of me to expect her to hold up the tent alone. If I’m going to be 100% honest, I felt overshadowed by my brilliantly skilled sister. But such is the hazard of co-blogging with an English lit major who can also knit like a demon.
I think it’s safe to say that my hesitancy is gone. Whatever it was, the veil of 2008 has lifted. Judging by this past week alone I’ve seen that I have a lot to share and I want to share it with you. Peek into my brain, see what I see! Big or small, you better believe I’m going to post it!
Today though, lets start with the small.
