I remember very clearly receiving the email about this new book- I was sort of grumpy that day, and I felt like it had been ages since I had seen anything sort of new with knitting patterns, you know what I mean?  And then this landed in my inbox, and I was immediately charmed- it’s a Fox scarf!! No one can be in a bad mood if they are wearing a fox scarf, am I right? And as I flipped through the digital pages of this new book, there was plenty more to love. Here are just a few more of the patterns I’m utterly smitten with:

A tiger rug!!  Wouldn’t’ this be amazing in a kid’s room?

I need these bear coasters in my life. Nothing says cozy like bear coasters.

The trick with all these adorable knits is that they are so high impact, a little goes a long way. You don’t need to be ‘someone who wears this sort of thing’ to wear this sort of thing- or you can skip the wearable section and go straight to the cool home stuff, like that amazing tiger rug (kids would naturally love this, but I also think it would be fun as a bedside rug as well- and could be done in just black and white, for that Rare White tiger look!). If I had a teensy bit more time before today, I totally would have knit some bear coasters. Although then I suspect I’d have to wrestle them away from my two-year old, who would naturally want to have them for herself.
