Thank You for Making my 3rd Business Anniversary a Success!
First off, I want to thank all of you for making my 3rd anniversary sale this past weekend was so fun – I loved seeing the goodies you chose, and shipping them out! I hope you all have many happy crafting hours ahead. Subscribers received an early access code to get their top picks a day earlier than everyone else, and scooped up lots of goodies before they sold out – if that sounds interesting to you, subscribe to my store mailing list here!
Quince & Co Collaboration – Just Dropped!
I spent all this past summer working on 3 different stick and stitch embroidery packs for Quince & Co, and they just launched!
These were really fun to design – they wanted something ‘floral’, something ‘woodland’, and something ‘monogram’. I designed a large, showstopping floral that would be ideal for a sweater front or cardigan back, and a 10-design woodland pack featuring a little fox, squirrel, bunny, hedgehog, mushrooms, flowers and more! The monograms have a fun, Laverne & Shirley vibe that would be so cute on a sweater front, or even as a tint detail on a pocket or a cardigan. The kits come with the pre printed dissolving stabilizer, printed instructions, access to a webpage with more photos and detailed instructions, embroidery floss, and a needle.

Woolstock!
I’ll be at Woolstock in Paris, Ontario this Saturday, October 14th! I have lots of goodies, including a couple of new things that I’ll be launching VERY soon! So stay tuned.

Finally Figuring Out A Marketing Plan
I also want to shout out Amanda Laird from Slow & Steady Studio. You might think that someone like me, who actually used to DO MARKETING, would have a handle on their own marketing, but I do not. I always felt like I was running to catch up, and not actually doing the things that move the needle in a way that is meaningful. She helped me get so much clarity and calm around the idea of marketing my small business, and it’s been amazing- I actually have a plan that doesn’t leave me feeling overwhelmed, and in our first meeting I felt absolutely inspired.
If that’s resonating with you in any way at all, you should sign up for her free newsletter (it’s at the bottom of the main page) – it’s always full of calm, practical advice that makes me feel like it doesn’t always have to be such a content-making churn.
Kittens!
Also! We are fostering kittens through the Toronto Cat Rescue, and it’s such a rewarding experience. They are so sweet, and we’re helping getting some found kittens used to being in a home environment and to like people. I hope whoever adopts them likes to knit, they seem very partial to knitting.
