A REALLY easy weeknight dinner idea that feels like take out but you can make faster than it will take to get delivery – garlic sesame noodles. These are super easy, and I recommend adding some spinach or even some some thin slices of carrots if you want to up the veggies. Find the recipe here.

These are easily the most intruding cookies I’ve seen in a long time, and now I’m dying to make them. These are neopolitan amaretti cookies, and the dough is divided into three, and mixing in the chocolate and strawberry for the different flavours. Don’t these look amazing? A great weekend baking project, if you ask me. Recipe for these beauties can be found over here.

This is such a clever idea- buy a floral fabric shower curtain, staple it on a wood frame, and embroider some of the flower details for depth and texture. I love how this looks! A very fun idea. Find the tutorial for the project (and great close up photos) here.

This looks like such a pretty knitted tee pattern, and the yarn it calls for is an affordable Lion brand DK weight in cotton and bamboo blend. WHile it might not be t0shirt weather here in my part of the world right now, I do wear t-shirts under sweaters and cardigans! I really love the neckline on this in particular. It looks comfy and casual, and just right. Find the free pattern here.

I love how this gorgeous braided wall weaving looks, and it’s actually done with braids and different weights of yarn in a similar colour palette. Such a gorgeous, big impact wall art idea! You don’t need any weave skills to make this, either- find the full DIY right over here.
The kids went back to in-person school on Wednesday this week! The first morning I could get back to my own work I felt like I accomplishe dmroe in two hours than I had int he previous 2 weeks combined, ha. But now the weekend is upon us! Here’s to recharging our batteries, and making time for the things we love.

Thanks for the interesting and thought provoking reads. And, of course, for the embroidered cats. How wonderful are they?! I love the idea of the partially embroidered shower curtain artwork.
