Keeping on the colourful theme, I love this painted clock- it looks like a really fun DIY that would brighten up any space. I mean, how could you be sad looking at that happy, cheerful clock?! You could even customize in shades of one colour to match your particular decor, if you wanted something a little less bright. So many possibilities! The DIY is right over here.
