Quesadillas are always a bit hit for dinner in my family, and this greek-style version feels extra perfect for the warm weather! It’s especially great if you have mozzarella cheese hanging around, but not any cheddar. A very versatile recipe! Check it out here.

If you love cheesecake but hate how it takes a small fortune in ingredients to make, then small-batch cheesecake is here to save the day! This is perfect for a nice dessert, and doesn’t take nearly as much cream cheese to make a perfect little cheesecake in your loaf pan. Such a clever idea! You could even cut them into cheesecake bars, instead of bigger slices. The recipe is right here.

I was absolutely blown away by this stunning crocheted afghan pattern that was in Knitty.com! So perfect for summer – for picnics, on a chair as a throw blanket for chilly nights, or the porch… it just seems so pretty and versatile. And can you believe it’s a free pattern? Find the whole thing here.

If a smaller crochet project is more your speed, how cute is this little crocheted cat? Would be a fun little stashbuster, and a cute thing to make for a friend who could use a little cheering up! Find the free pattern for this cutie right here.

I love the idea of taking a cheaper rug and custom painting it to suit the colours of your room! This is such an easy and clever way to have a colourful rug, for the fraction of the price. Check out the full DIY here.
And just like that, it’s the last day of May! How did that even happen! I feel like it was such a busy month for me – but I do have another show coming up n Ontario, the Kawartha Yarn Festival in Fenlon Falls on Saturday, June 8th! It’s a great show, and I hope to see you there!
Have a great weekend!

Thank you Julie- I really love your “favorites” lists. I’m going to make that cheesecake (yum).
I hope you enjoy, Meredith! I LOVE cheesecake, but it’s such a lot of expensive ingredients (unless you get cream cheese on sale!), I really like this abbreviated version!
