I have been thinking a lot about this quote on kindness this week.

Turns out, male and female brains are actually the same.

This was a fascinating talk on knitting and it’s relation to the history of spycraft – part of the Toronto Knitter’s Frolic talk series last month.

An absolutely beautiful long essay on discovering tea, and the meaning of home. A must-read for any tea lovers, and really worth it even if you aren’t.

And another really interesting read- the great stewardess rebellion.

I wouldn’t say I’m actively looking for variations on tacos so I can eat them ALL THE TIME, but I certainly am happy to test them out when I do see them! This turkey taco skillet is a great weeknight supper idea, full of veggies and bright colours and of course cheesy tortilla chips. Because chips for dinner makes me feel like I’m living my best life. Find the recipe right over here.

When a recipe has no refined sugar in it, you can basically eat it for breakfast and declare it healthy, right? Right. These delicious treats are sweetened with ripe bananas and maple syrup as the sweetener, I feel like I’m making such amazing choices, I’ll eat twice as many. But then again, I’ve always been a sucker for peanut butter and chocolate together! Find the recipe for these healthy treats here.

This was an excellent post from Mason Dixon Knitting on how needle material affects knitting gauge- definitely worth a read, and you can find the post here.

Once you’re all set with a better understanding of needle material and how it affects gauge, you can swatch for this incredibly pretty summer top! What a lovely free pattern from Nalu Knits.

A beautiful free printable for a journal card, with one of the truest statements ever. Find it here.

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend, friends! My parents are visiting this weekend, and it will be the first time we’ve seen them since December! We were supposed to see them in April, but we had covid, then they had covid, etc. Hopefully now that the beautiful, warm weather has arrived in this part of the world, we’ll see a huge decline in those numbers! I hope you have a really fantastic day, friends.

You were right, the tea story was amazing! Thanks for sharing.
