For a crowd-pleasing and really easy dinner, might I suggest these baked chicken tacos? You cook the contents, assemble them all in their crunch taco shells in an ovenproof dish, cheese all over it, and boom- you’ve hmde something that probably everyone is going to love! This also feels like a great dish for when having friends over. You can check out the easy recipe here.

Perfect to bring to a picnic or a barbecue, These pecan pie squares are delicious but not as big a dessert commitment as a slice of pecan pie. I mean, they are definitely pecan pie, but in square form, we can pretend, right? Right. Glad we agree. Find the recipe right over here.

If you love lilacs the way I love lilacs (I am OBSESSED) then we are in lilac season and time for lilac recipes! This lilac lemonade recipe is a great for a hot weekend, and has major spring vibes. Please it’s super easy to make. Check it out here, and enjoy a cool glass of spring.

I adore these farmhouse style knitted dish towels from Purl Soho- what a great summer knitting project, to make a little collection of these. They also seem like they would be great housewarming gifts, don’t you think? Find the free knitting pattern here.

A cute destashing project- this charming cactus coin pouch! Crochet this cutie up (would be a fun ‘just because’ friend gift, too!) and have a sweet place for coins, keys, whatever you need to keep separate in your purse. So many colour possibilities, too! Find the free pattern here.

Have a lovely weekend, friends! The warm weather has finally returned to Toronto, and I am HERE for it. I’m ramping up in preparation for Knit City in Montreal for the May long weekend- and I hope I’ll see you there!

Well, the dish cloth and the pouch – both so cute! I wonder about the lilac lemonade, have you tried it? Thanks for the ideas! Have a great weekend

I have! I really like floral elements in flavours- for example, I like to add a splash of orange flower water to my green tea. And I remember once getting a tea in england that was rose flavored (probably rose water) and I loved it) that’s not going to be for everyone, but even a bit of floral element tends to be really nice, if you like floral elements in a drink! I have a recipe for a lilac cake that even has the flowers baked in.

I’ll be at Knit City on Friday! I have a class in the afternoon, and then I’ll be at the knit night event. Maybe we’ll see each other!
