If you are really feeling ambitious, Kodak has just released the world’s largest puzzle- 51,300 pieces.

A fascinating dive into the meaning of the ‘Karen’ as a negative meme, including it’s origins in black culture.

Gardening is basically the cure for all of society’s ills. Can’t hurt to try, right?

I love these yarn-themed Zoom backgrounds. Represent!

My Favourite Pins This Week

I miss burrito bowls so much from my favourite lunchtime takeaway place, so I knew this was going to be good. You can totally skip the cilantro if you (like me) think it tastes like soap. Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe (easy peasy) is right here.

Feel like getting your bake on? These coffee cake style cupcakes would be amazing! Just like the really delicious coffee cake you would get in a nice bakery, but you will have made it them with your own two hands. And then you get to eat them for breakfast if you want – no one’s going to judge! Pinterest link is here, and the full recipe is here.

Feel like making your morning cup of coffee a little fancier? Being at home all the time now I really feel like trying stuff like this, it makes things feel more interesting, even if I wouldn’t typically order a snickerdoodle latte in a cafe. But at home? Let’s go for it! The recipe includes ideas for a nutella version, too! Pinterest link is here, and the recipe is over here.

These beautiful coasters are made with white fimo / polymer clay, and I love that you only need to get one colour of paint to make these beautiful blue and white hand painted coasters. The design is really simple, even for those of us who don’t think we’re artistic! These would be beautiful for the summer, don’t you think? Pinterest link is here, and the DIY is here. Oh, and as a side note, if you are wondering where to get supplies for any crafts these days, your local store is probably doing curbside pick up, or you could order off of Amazon or Walmart. But if you can, choose your local store over Amazon – we want local businesses to survive!

You can dye fabric with tissue paper?! Mind. Blown. I love the beautiful, better-than-tie-dye effect that the tissue paper yields. I don’t have a white silk, polyester or satin anything lying around, but I’ll be keeping my eye out to pick something up and try this. Pinterest link is here, and the full DIY can be found here.

Have a gorgeous weekend, everyone! It is a long weekend here in Canada, and I’m hoping to get some patio gardening done. Stay safe! xo

As a mom of 2 I’m shocked to discover that you don’t just lounge around in white silk all the time. Ha! I LOVE that tissue paper dyeing! Gotta try that.
