Original Pattern: Guthrie

Knitter Extraordinaire: Allison (Ravelry Profile)

Mods:  Knit a smaller size, Allison was getting a larger gauge with her swatch. Adjusted the neck, and adjusted the stitches for front and back to have more room in the front to accommodate a larger bust. Also used a twisted rib for cuff and hem. Great details can be found on her project page right here.

What Makes This Awesome: Allison knit a Guthrie before, and decided to make another version, with the wonderful rainbow on grey colour scheme. She also customized it for a better fit, which is fantastic. And anyone out there looking to accommodate a larger bust, that is a great tip to have more stitches in the front than on the back to allow for more fabric where you need it most!

I also love twisted ribbing for cuffs and hems, it gives great stitch definition and is especially nice if you find your ribbing can look a little messy. You can see in the photos how crisp and even the twisted rib looks, which I love. This whole sweater is beautifully done and so fun- how happy is this rainbow colour scheme?!
