Original Pattern: Igawa
Knitter Extraordinaire: Kaetze (Ravelry ID)
Mods: Instead of following the directions for the asymmetrical design, she used the same directions for both sides for a more even design, and reduced some of the fabric in the oversized fit. Great details can be found on her project page, here.
What Makes This Awesome: The original Igawa pattern is a billowy, asymmetrical pullover that looks so comfortable and easy to wear… but not everyone is going to feel comfortable in asymmetrical garments. I love this great modification to make the sides more balanced, focusing on the overall unstructured fit. She also chose a size that was still oversized but not so dramatically as the original pattern photos.
The result is fantastic- oversized without being overwhelmed by fabric, and a gorgeously wearable top that looks like it can go with anything.

Impressive. Shaping mods are well beyond my skill set. I bow to you.
