Tangle Book Launch Thursday

It’s been a long time coming, but this Thursday marks the launch of my first book of poetry- Tangle. It’s not yet available for online purchase (although is available for pre-order on Amazon), but will be soon. In the mean time, the only way to get a copy for the next few weeks is if you swing by my book launch this Thursday! If you’re in Toronto, I do hope you can make it. You can read a couple poems here, and here.

Even if you aren’t sure what your feeling on poetry might be, come by and say hi, I always like meeting knitting buddies in real life!

Update: To answer the question about my name on the book, it’s my maiden name. Crawford is my married surname.

Your poems are lovely – if the rest of the book is anything like the sampling you linked to, I am very excited to read more.

    congratulations!

That’s amazing! I’m not a big poetry reader, but that’s more for lack of patience to sift through all the stuff out there than anything else! I may have to pick up a copy of this 🙂

Julie, I’ve been reading your blog for many moons now. Once you mentioned that you wrote poetry I was very curious to read some of your work. The two poems you reference are so, so lovely. Congratulations on your new book. Meagan

You know – I just found your page (thanks to Knitty – yay!) less than a week ago and already I’m like – let’s be besties! Although…take the creeper out of that because I’m really not that crazy. But I love knitting (duh…hence Knitty) and was once a poetry writer myself. It feels like so long ago…too long. I had some amazing writers as profs in college. I miss that world so much.

    Congrats on your book!!!

I have been so behind on my internet communications lately, that I have no idea if I’ve already said this or not…but oh my goodness, it is so amazing that you are publishing a book! So, so, so exciting. I wish I could have attended your book launch (and hope you had a great time)! But at least I can pre-order the book. Huge congratulations to you!!!
